6/04/09- Lisle, IL – The Indiana Tech volleyball team added Samantha Larson to their roster as she signed her letter of intent.  Sami is a 6'0 outside hitter transferring from Parkland Junior College in Champagne, Illinois.  Sami was named to the All-Tournament Team at their Nationals this past season, and was named to the 2007 All-Conference Team and Honorable Mention All-Region team while at Parkland.  Sami is originally from New Lenox, Illinois and Lincoln-Way Central High School and she played for Chicago Ultimate Club.  "Sami is going to be a great addition to our roster this season.  Not only does she hit a heavy ball with good control, she is also going to bring some great experience and leadership to the team coming from a great program at Parkland," said head coach Kirsta Solberg.  Sami will be majoring in physical education and plans to teach high school when she graduates.
