Fort Wayne, Ind. – The Indiana Tech volleyball program is proud to announce the signing of Cassie Sarabia from Rossford High School in Rossford, Ohio.
“Cassie is coming to Tech with a great deal of volleyball experience,” Warrior Head Coach Kourtney Volkmer said. “Throughout high school and Junior Olympics she has made a great impact on the programs. She has great ball control and has the chance to fill a role that is in great need this upcoming season.”
Cassie, a 5-foot-9 defensive specialist and outside hitter, comes to Indiana Tech after earning four varsity letters at Rossford. During her senior season she received First Team All-League, First Team All-District, and All-County Team honors, and was also the MVP of her program. As a junior, Cassie was named Second Team All-District and Honorable Mention All-League.
“Cassie is a versatile player who can step in and play outside when the time comes,” Volkmer added. “In the future she will have a chance to be a six rotation player during her time as a Warrior.”
While at Tech, Cassie plans on majoring in Psychology.
