RESULTS | LIVONIA, MICH. -- The Indiana Tech volleyball team fell to the undefeated Crusaders of Madonna University on Friday afternoon in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference tournament’s quarterfinal match 3-0 (12-25, 19-25, 14-25) in Livonia, Mich.
The No.4 Crusaders (37-0, 12-0) kept the match in their control for its entirety, forcing the Warriors into 23 errors compared to their 28 kills and six service errors.
The Warriors were led offensively by junior Christine Foest who had nine kills for a .273 average and senior Kelsey Fitzpatrick and freshman Alexandra Roberts who both recorded 11 assists. Roberts also recorded two service aces. Indiana Tech was led defensively by the conference All-Freshman team member Taylor Kelso who had 10 digs.
The loss means the end of the season for the Warriors who finished the season 12-23 overall and 6-7 in WHAC play.
