FORT WAYNE, IN- The NAIA All-American and AVCA NAIA All-Region Teams were announced with several members of the Indiana Tech Volleyball team being honored.
Sophomore, outside hitter, Ashley Hamilton (Middlebury, IN / Northridge) was selected to the NAIA 2nd Team All-American and the Tachikara National All-Tournament Team. In addition, Hamilton and junior, middle blocker, Erika Stouder (Nappanee, IN / Ancilla College) were selected 1st Team AVCA All- Region. Last year Hamilton recieved All-American Honorable Mention. Stouder was also named to the NAIA Honorable Mention All-American list.
Hamilton lead the Warriors in kills (562) and fell two short on 1,000 career kills. Stouder led the team in blocks (160) and hitting percentage (.375). She also had 432 kills for the season.
Senior, outside hitter, Ashley Jenkins (Gahanna, OH / Westerville North) and junior, defensive specialist, Kayla Hartman (Fort Wayne, IN / Northrop) were named Academic All-Americans. To be nominated for Academic All-American, honorees must have a cumulative 3.5 gpa and be in her junior or senior year.
