FORT WAYNE, IN- Wabash high school track and volleyball star, Bridjet Rowan, signed with Indiana Tech to play volleyball for the Warriors for 2010. Bridjet will also be competing as a track and field athlete while with the Warriors.
The 5'9" outside hitter received 1st Team All-County Honors, Wawasee Tournament All-Tournament team, and Best Offensive Player for Wabash High School in the 2009 season.
In track she received All-Conference honors, Most Improved, and the most field event points in 2 years, prior to the 2010 track season.
"Bridjet is an outstanding athlete who is very athletically fit for a student coming out of high school. She comes from a family of volleyball players and she is also very passionate about the sport of volleyball and striving to learn as much as possible. We are looking forward to having Bridjet a part of our program and watching her develop as a student-athlete," said head coach Kirsta Solberg of Bridjet's signing.
Bridjet plans to study Criminal Justice while attending Indiana Tech.
