5/22/09- Joliet, IL – Katrena Keay signed her letter of intent to play volleyball with the Indiana Tech Warriors.  Katrena is a defensive specialist from Joliet, Illinois and Joliet West High School.  She also plays for Belusa Volleyball Club.  "Katrena is a quick and athletic defensive player.  She also has a good jump float serve and fit right in with Indiana Tech," Coach Kirsta Solberg commented.  Katrena is a very good student and was named Student of the Quarter at Joliet West High School.  She plans to study physical education at Indiana Tech and teach grade school and coach volleyball in the future.
