Fort Wayne, Ind. – The Lady Warriors, under the direction of third-year head coach Rodney Hamilton, finished the 2011-12 year in a season highlighted with the team's 5-0 start which was the best in program history since the 2006-07 season. The team’s fast start vaulted the Lady Warriors up the NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, landing at the No. 15 spot for the first time since 1992-1993.

They were ranked 15th in free throw percentage (0.732), 18th in assist/turnover ratio (0.899), 21st in turnover margin (3.355), and 24th in scoring offense per game (70.419).
