FORT WAYNE, IN- The Indiana Tech Warriors Women’s Basketball team is pleased to announce that Cady Riggs from Madison-Grant High School is transferring to Indiana Tech from Carl Sandburg Community College for the 2009-10 season. 

Riggs is a 6’0” power forward that started the first five games at Carl Sandburg before being sidelined the rest of the season with an injury.  In her senior season at Madison-Grant HS she led her team in scoring and rebounding averaging 19.5 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. Riggs led her team in scoring and rebounding all four years of high school by scoring over 1,000 points and grabbing over 600 rebounds.  She was a 3–time All CIC player, 4-time Chronicle-Tribune All County, 4-time Herald-Tribune All Area, 4-time team MVP. Riggs was also Hoosier Basketball Magazine Top 100 Seniors, and was invited to play in the East-West All Star Game.

The Warriors will tip-off their season on November 7^th at the University of Northwestern Ohio at 1:00pm.
