Marion, IN – On Saturday afternoon, the Indiana Tech Warriors Women’s Basketball team fell to their host the Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats, 67-48. The Wildcats used a strong first half to sprint out to a 28-6 lead and despite several attempts by the Warriors to cut the deficit, the Wildcats maintained their lofty lead and won their seventh game of the year.
The Warriors were paced by junior guard Julie Stetzel (Huntington, IN / Midland College) and her nine points. Sophomore forward Cady Riggs (Summitville, IN / Carl Sandberg CC) came off the bench and chipped in seven points. For the next game, the Warriors will return to the safe confines of the Schaefer Center at Indiana Tech on Tuesday, December 1st to host the Thunder of Trine University for a 7:00pm tip-off.
