Fort Wayne, IN-- The Lady Warriors second half effort wasn't enough to get past the Knights of Marian University. Although Tech's defense was able to keep Marian on the outside, the Knights were able to put up jumpers often and on target in the first half.
Tech was unable to get moving offensively through most of the first half and took a 29-15, 14 point deficit, and their lowest shooting percentage of the season into the locker room.
In the second half the Lady Warriors found some solid play from the bench with Melissa Moore putting in 6 and All-Tournament selection Amanda Tipton adding another 6. Tech outscored Marian in the second half 35-31 to take some confidence away from the 60-50 loss.
Tech will look to begin another winning streak Saturday as they travel to Bethel. Tip off is scheduled for 1 p.m. For more information on the Lady Warriors please contact Kaylee Swanson at 260.420.5561 ext. 2443 or via email at kaswanson@indianatech.edu |
