Fort Wayne, IN-- The Lady Warrior Basketball Team improves to 5-9 on the season after out lasting the Huntington Foresters 48-44, in the opening game of the Taylor University Holiday Tournament.
The Warriors were led by sophomore, forward, Yamine Coleman (Indianapolis, IN) shooting 6 of 14 from the floor and adding three points from the line.
Tech's defense also came up big, forcing 21 turnovers and pulling out the stops for the win. Tomorrow the Warriors will play Taylor at 2 p.m. looking to take a hot streak into conference play next week.
