Fort Wayne, IN--The Warriors start 2010 with a 75-68 win Sunday over Saint Mary of the Woods. Tech has recently been on a hot streak, getting big wins over Huntington University, No. 10 Taylor, and now Saint Mary.

 

Each win has been a team effort with outstanding performances coming from starters and non starters alike. Some notables are junior, center, Chelsea Shadday (East Noble High School) who is averaging just over ten points a game during the hot streak, while also being named to the all tournament team this past weekend.

 

Senior, guard, Hannah Thieke (IPFW) has been on the mark recently as well scoring 32 in the last two games.

 

First year head coach, Rodney Hamilton is looking forward to the start of conference play Wednesday, as the women take on the University of Michigan- Dearborn. Tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Kline Court.
