Late Run Comes Up Short
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

January 16, 2010

Fort Wayne, IN-- A late run by the Warriors comes up short as Tech dropped their third straight to Madonna 56-64 Saturday afternoon.

Once again Yasmine Coleman led the Warriors with another double double posting 16 points and 10 boards. While both Hannah Thieke and Amanda Tipton were able to put double digits in the point column with 11 and 10 respectively.

Shantelle Herring of Madonna seemed to be in the right place at the right time most of the game sinking 11 shots and putting 24 points on the board. The perimeter shooting Madonna displayed this afternoon seemed to be where Tech couldn't compete. The Crusaders ended the game 10 of 19 from beyond the arch.

Tech will look to rebound from the loss on Wednesday when they travel to Siena Heights to take on the Saints at 7:30 p.m. For more information on the Lady Warriors please contact Warriors Athletics at 260.422.5561 ext. 2227.
