Fort Wayne, IN-- For forty minutes the Lady Warriors battled with Siena Heights to a tie score, 65-65 at the end of regulation.
The whole game was a team effort as four Warriors produced 10 or more points. Sophomore, forward, Yasmine Coleman led the way with 13 and three teammates followed with 12 a piece.
Heading into over time tied at 65 the Warriors had pocession but after a Katie Stewart foul and a free throw through the net by Erin Cassidy, the Saints never looked back. Tech seemed to get a little foul happy in overtime and we down 73-67 with just over a minute and a half to go.
After a couple of critical Saint turnovers and a big 3 point field goal by Julie Stetzel the Warriors were within two with 24 seconds remaining.
The Warriors drove down the court one last time but a missed field goal ended the OT in a 73-71 loss. Tech will be back in action Saturday afternoon as the Panthers of Davenport make the trip. Tip off set for 1:00 p.m.
