Fort Wayne, IN-- The Lady Warriors took on the hot Golden Eagles in the Schaefer Center.  Cornerstone came in tonights game beating #1 ranked Davenport and #16 ranked Aquinas last week.

 

The Warriors started out slow as Cornerstone built an early lead pushig it to as much as 15 points midway through the first half. Tech made a 21-9 run to finish the first half to cut the lead to just 3 points before the half (26-29).

 

The second half would remain close with Cornerstone still up until the 14 minute mark Tech tied the ball game at 53-53. The Warriors would take the lead with 4:17 remaining and would not relinquish the lead as they went to defeat The Golden Eagles 66-59. 

 

Julie Stetzel led the comeback with 15 pts. While 3 other Lady Warriors had double figures Amanda Tipton 14, Yasmine Coleman 13, and Ebony Robinson 10.

 

Indiana Tech will return to action this Saturday when they take on Concordia in the Schaefer Center at 3:00pm
