Danville, IN – The Indiana Tech women’s golf team placed 7th this past weekend at the Katman Klassic hosted by DePauw University. The Warriors shot a 342 in round one and 346 in round two to finish with a 688 total team score.
DePauw University ran away with the tournament taking home first place shooting a team score of 612, 34 strokes better than the second place team. Olivet College finished in second place with a 646 followed by Washington University-St. Louis with a 647.
Sophomore Megan Garrison (Cutler, IN/Carroll) placed tied for 15th overall, turning in rounds of 84 and 79. Freshman Keerstin Ramsey (Cincinnati, OH/Indian Hill) shot an 82 in round one followed by an 87 in round two to finish tied for 25th overall. Junior Kalie Sanders (Greenville, OH/Greenville) was tied for 30th, shooting an 84/87.
The Warriors will be back in action on April 15-16 at the Millikin Spring Classic hosted by Millikin University at Scovill GC in Decatur, IL.
