Fort Wayne, IN – The Indiana Tech women’s golf team is proud to announce the signing of Julia Browning from Cantrall, Illinois.

Julia attends Athens Community High School in Athens, Illinois where she has played with the boys’ team since there is no girls’ team at the school. Coach Mettert believes her time from playing with the guys will be an asset at the college level. She comes in with an 80 average and a low score of 74.

“Julia will be a player to help us maintain the high standards it will take to get us to the National Championships,” Coach Mettert says, “she has had great parental support in the past and we look forward to seeing her mom and dad clad in black and orange!”
