Greenville, TN – The Indiana Tech women’s golf team stands in 24th place after two rounds in the 2011 NAIA Women’s Golf National Championships with a total score of 720.
Lubbock Christian (Texas) moved into first place after firing a 302 in round two to take a one shot lead over Embry-Riddle (Fla.). Shorter (Ga.) rounds out the top three with a 631.
Leading the Warriors is freshman Keerstin Ramsey (Cincinnati, OH/Indian Hill) and sophomore Megan Garrison (Cutler, IN/Carroll), both with 167’s. Ramsey has turned in rounds of 83/84 and Garrison has shot 82/85, with both currently tied for 67th place overall.
Junior Kalie Sanders (Greenville, OH/Greenville) has carded rounds of 93/96 for a two-round total of 189, putting her in 119th place and freshman Tina Mettert (New Haven, IN/New Haven) is in 125th place with rounds of 100/97.
The Warriors will begin the third round of action on Thursday on No.10 at 9 a.m.
