Round 1 Results | Final Results
Seymour, IN – The Indiana Tech women’s golf held a two shot overnight lead over Hanover College at the Hanover College Fall Invite, but the Warriors couldn’t hold off the charging Panthers, who fired a 326 on Sunday to win the event by five shots with a 650. Tech totaled a score of 655, which ties the school's team 36-hole record set last season, and was followed by Marian University with a 668.
Junior Megan Garrison (Burlington, IN/Carroll) continued her outstanding play, taking home individual medalist honors after shooting a season best 1-over, 74 in the final round to finish with a 153. Garrison's 153 breaks Tech's previous school 36-hole record of 155, which she set last year.
Senior Kalie Sanders (Greenville, OH/Greenville) turned in an 83, finishing with a 166, to tie for 6th place overall while freshman Haley Larson (Enon, OH/Greenon) finished in a tie for 14th after carding an 87 (166).
The Warriors return to action on Tuesday, September 13 when they open league play at Quail Ridge Golf Club in Grand Rapids, Michigan for the first WHAC Jamboree of the year hosted by Cornerstone University.
