Fort Wayne, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women’s golf team was receiving votes in the latest edition of the 2012 NAIA Women’s Golf Coaches’ Top 25 Poll announced by the national office on Friday.
The Warriors finished Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play in second place, just 28 shots behind winner Madonna University. Tech is led by junior Megan Garrison (Burlington, IN/Carroll) and senior Kalie Sanders (Greenville, OH/Greenville). Garrison is averaging an 80.5 per round and has won three events so far this year while Sanders is averaging an 87.7 and has notched four Top 10 finishes.
The Warriors will open the spring portion of their schedule on Friday and Saturday, March 30-31, at the Capital University Purple and White Invite in Grove City, Ohio at Foxfire Golf Course.
