Fort Wayne, IN--The Indiana Tech Lady Warriors hosted the Spring Fling at Whispering Creek in New Haven on April 29th and 30th.
Walsh University ranked 23rd won the tournament with a score of 320-317.
However, The Women's Golf Team shattered two records on the second day of the tournament.
The 18 hole record of 335 (tied on Thursday) was broken on Friday with a new team record of 330.
The 36 hole record of 703( which was tied last week at Millikin) was broken by 38 shots with the Lady Warriors firing a 665.
Megan Garrison led the way with a third place finish by shooting 80-80. She was followed by Alexandra Haskell with a 86-80, Kalie Sanders with 88-82, Andi Schrock with a 82-90, and Tara Hanna with a 86-88. Mary Verduce played as an individual and had 82-87, followed by Brittany Watson with a 98-88 and Megan Warner with a 106-103.
