Pineville, Ky. – The Indiana Tech women’s golf team wrapped up its fall slate on Tuesday at the Bulldog Invite hosted by Union College at Wasioto Winds Golf Course. The Warriors finished in fourth place with a two-day score of 719.
Union took home the championship with a 686, and was followed by Tennessee Wesleyan College at 694 and Bryan College at 714.
Tech was led by senior Megan Garrison (Cutler, IN/Carroll), who earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team with a fourth place finish. Garrison shot an opening round 89 before coming back the next day with a 79, which matched the lowest score of the tournament.
The rest of the Warrior contingent finished between 15th and 20th, all within seven shots of each other. Junior Hannah Starkey (Rochester, IN/Rochester) was tied for 15th with rounds of 92 and 87 for a 179 total. Close behind her were seniors Andria Schrock (Delta, OH/Pike Delta York) with a 183 (90-93) and Katie Clouse (Marion, IN/Grace) with a 184 (94-90).
Sophomore Haley Larson (Enon, OH/Greenon) came in 19th with a 36-hole total of 185. Julia Browning (Cantrall, IL/Athens) and Rachel George (Gahanna, OH/Lincoln) tied for 20th with matching scores of 186.
