London, KY – The Indiana Tech women’s golf team finished fourth this past weekend at the Bill Sergent Invitational hosted by the University of the Cumberlands.
The Warriors scored a 348 after the first day and improved on that on day two with a 336 to score 684 for the weekend. Lindsey Wilson College won the event with a score of 624. Campbellsville University finished 28 shots back of them (652) for second place and the University of the Cumberlands placed third with a 662.
Sophomore Megan Garrison (Cutler, IN/Carroll HS) and freshman Keerstin Ramsey (Cincinnati, OH/Indian Hill HS) both finished in the top 10 with scores of 164 and 166 respectively.
The Warriors return to action Tuesday, September 7 for the first conference match of the year at Whispering Creek GC in New Haven, IN at 11 a.m.
