RESULTS | FORT WAYNE, Ind. –The Indiana Tech women’s golf team set a school and conference record in winning its third WHAC Jamboree with a 308 on Monday at the Sunnybrook Country Club in Grandville, Mich.
The Warriors were led by four-time WHAC Golfer of the Week, Wiebke Schlender who continues to win with her fourth consecutive individual medalist honor after carding a school record, two-under 70, winning the event by four strokes.
Courtney Dye tallied her second straight top-five finish as she tied for fourth with a 77. Also finishing in the top-10 for Tech, her fourth such finish, was Tamina Römer who finished one shot behind Dye with a 78.
Rachel George and Haley Larson tied for 20th with a pair of 83’s while Tina Mettert concluded the scoring for the Orange and Black as she carded an 84.
Tech won the event by eight strokes over Siena Heights (316) while Madonna (317), Aquinas (323) and Davenport (337) round out the top five.
The Warriors return to the course on Friday, Oct. 4 when they tee it up at the USF Fall Invitational at the Brookwood Golf Course in Fort Wayne, Ind.
