Erin Skodi Signs with the Warriors
On March 30, 2009, Erin Skodi signed her Letter of Intent to play Varsity Women's Lacrosse at Indiana Tech. Her official signed letter was recieved by Women's Lacrosse Head Coach Ed Karasek on April 3.
The Warriors discovered Skodi at the Midwest Showcase at Loyola Academy in Glenville, IL, on November 1, 2008. Initial communication between her and Indiana Tech began at this time. After watching Skodi's performance in the 7 vs. 7 match, which was hosted at Northwestern University on February 1, 2009, Coach and his assistant knew that the talent and style she played the game with would make her an important addition to the Women's Lacrosse team.
Indiana Tech is excited to have signed Skodi to their roster. She has played in all of the major tournaments and just loves the passion of each game. “Erin is a complete player who understands the important of defense. She has speed, a variety of shots, and some of the best stick handling out there. She is a great addition to our team!," noted Coach Karasek.
