Katie Furrow signs here LOI to play as a Warrior

On Sunday, May 17, Katie Furrow signed her Letter of Intent in O’Fallon Township, Illinois. O’Fallon, I believe, is across the Mississippi River from St. Louis, MO. Her mother, Anne Marie, and her father, Ed, witnessed her signing.

Furrow got our attention at the Windy City Tournament in Chicago, IL, in late April. She plays for O’Fallon Township High School and boasts that she is “tenacious and fearless and love playing lacrosse.”

Coach Karasek says: “Katie caught our eye because of her lightening-like speed and quick moves when in the attack mode. We later found out that she is the co-captain of her team and we love to have leadership skills on the field, as well. Katie can make decisions, is a terrific student academically and exactly the type of young lady a coach wants on his team.”
