Nicole Moffat Signs Letter of Intent
On June 23, 2009, Nicole Moffat and her Dad, Brian, visited Indiana Tech and Nicole signed her Letter of Intent. Nicole is from Marshall, Michigan, and went to Marshall High School. She played lacrosse for Battle Creek and we first watched her team play against Mattawan. We spoke with Nicole that afternoon. We then had the opportunity to see Nicole play a second time at the Olivet College/Battle Creek Year End Festival.
Nicole caught our eye in both games with her strong defensive play. She had a number of good blocks and can pick up a ground ball. Nicole also seemed to have good anticipation.
Coach Karasek says: “Once again, defense, defense, defense. The team is only as good as its defense and Nicole Moffat will be a strong presence on the field. She is a great student and will be majoring in Finance at Tech. We are thrilled to have her on the team.” |
