Fort Wayne, Ind. – Tori Singstock (Southgate, MI/Southgate Anderson) can add one more piece of hardware to her collection to cap off a spectacular freshman season for the Indiana Tech women’s soccer team after earning a spot on the 2012 NSCAA NAIA All-Mideast Region Team.
Singstock, the WHAC Offensive Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year, provided an immediate impact for the Warriors as she notched a school record 23 goals to go with four assists. Her 23 goals and 50 points led the conference and ranked 10th and 13th in the NAIA, respectively.
During Tech’s WHAC Tournament run, the First Team All-Conference performer scored five times in three games, including two in the championship game to help tie the match late and force overtime before the team lost in a penalty kick shootout.
The Warriors finished 16-4-1 overall this season with a 6-2-0 mark in league play and advanced all the way to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament finals.
