Fort Wayne, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women’s soccer team is proud to announce that Halee Klopfenstein (Markle, IN/Norwell HS) has signed a letter of intent to play soccer for the Warriors for the fall of 2013.
Klopfenstein, a 5-foot-3 striker, tallied 10 goals and eight assists for the Knights. She was one of the team captains and helped lead the team to a sectional championship this fall. This season, Klopfenstein was selected to the Northeast Hoosier All-Conference Team.
In addition, Klopfenstein has been a member of the Rangers FC for the past three years under the direction of Head Coach Hani Rabi. She is the second player from Norwell to sign with the Warriors, joining Haley Heller who signed earlier this month.
“Halee pours everything she has into playing soccer,” said Warrior Head Coach Jim Lipocky, “She is highly motivated and she pushes herself and those around her to play to their potential. I look forward to working with her.”
