RESULTS | ANN ARBOR, MICH. – A golden goal in overtime from Megan Perrey against Concordia University (9-7-1; 3-4-1) sealed another Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference victory for the Indiana Tech women’s soccer team (9-7-1; 4-4) on Saturday afternoon.
Emma Lang opened the scoring for the Warriors in the 15th minute with a corner kick from Austin Wilson. The Cardinals responded eight minutes later and then scoring went quiet.
Despite 14 combined attempts on goal in the second half, both teams would have to wait until overtime for another goal.
The Warriors outshot the Cardinals 18-9, 11 in the second half alone, and 12-4 in shots on target. Despite not scoring a goal, Tori Singstock led the Warriors offensively with six total shots and three on goal. Defensively, goalkeeper Jordan Roell made three saves and allowed one goal.
The Orange and Black are back in action on Saturday, Nov. 2 at noon when they travel to Lima, Ohio for their final regular-season match against the University of Northwestern Ohio.
