COMPLETE LIST | ORANGE BEACH, Ala. -- FORT WAYNE, IN- The Indiana Tech Athletic Department is proud to announce that nine members of the women’s soccer program have been named NAIA All American Scholar Athletes for their academic excellence in the classroom. Nine surpasses last year’s record of eight and brings to a total of 27 scholar athletes under the tenure of Coach Lipocky at Tech.
Leading the way are seniors Manuela Cabal, Morgan Delagrange, Traycie Linker, Jordan Roell, Jessica Sikula and Natalie Zimmerman. Cabal, Delagrange, Linker, Sikula, and Zimmerman are all two time recipients of the award. Juniors Emma Lang,Laura Penn, and Natalia Salcedo also received honors.
Indiana Tech led the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) with their record number of recipients and finished tied for second nationally in the NAIA only trailing Concordia (Neb.) who tallied 11. To be eligible for the award, one must be a junior or senior and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better.
“I am very proud of these student-athletes and their academic achievements,” women’s soccer Head Coach Jim Lipocky said. “All are great ambassadors for our program and will have tremendous success after graduation.”
