FORT WAYNE, IN- The Indiana Tech Women’s Soccer Team lost a tough match with the visiting Crusaders of Madonna University, Saturday afternoon, 2-0. Both teams demonstrated good spirit at the beginning of the match and each sought to score the early goal. The Crusaders were able to counter after Tech nearly scored and beat Warrior keeper Mallory Xurvein (Ramsey, MN / Anoka) with a high shot. In the second half, both teams exchanged chances to score before the Crusaders took advantage of a poor clearance from the Tech defense to score their second and final goal of the match. The Warriors will be on the road for the next few weeks and their next match will be at Bethel College in Mishawaka for a 7:00pm match on Tuesday, February 8th.
