Fort Wayne, Ind. – The NAIA has announced that 308 softball student-athletes have been recognized as 2012 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. The Warriors had five players recognized for their hard work and dedication in the classroom.
Allison Belcher (St. Charles, MO/Francis Howell) – Business Administration
Callie Busch (Jefferson, OH/Jefferson) – Criminal Justice
Amber Edmundson (Portland, IN/Ancilla) – Psychology
Katelynn Hamilton (Jefferson, OH/Jefferson) – Therapeutic Recreation
Andrea Sexsmith (Brownstown, MI/Woodhaven) – Business Administration
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
