Fort Wayne, Ind. – The Indiana Tech softball team and Head Coach Becky Norris are proud to announce the signings of Chelsea Smith, Hannah Foltz, and Kelsey Whitaker.
Chelsea Smith, from West Milton, Ohio, attends Milton-Union High School and plays for the 18U Lady Mustangs. Smith is a true utility player that can play the outfield, infield, and catch too. She is looking to major in Psychology.
Hannah Foltz is from Dousman, Wisconsin and attends Kettle Moraine High School. She plays summer ball for the Kenosha Cyclones, which is the same organization Warrior standout pitcher Sam Berrios (Wadsworth, IL/Warren Twp.) came from. Foltz plans to major in Elementary Education.
Kelsey Whitaker, from Reelsville, Indiana, is an outfielder with a great bat and can also pitch. She helped lead South Putnam High School to a 31-0 record this past season and their second straight state championship. Whitaker also plays for the Tanel Prospects Gold summer team.
