4/05/09 – Indiana Tech Softball had hoped the weekend would go as well as the start of the week but the Warriors unfortunately dropped a pair to UM-Dearborn and Madonna.  On Saturday against UM-Dearborn Wolves, the Warriors lost 4-3 and 4-2.  Junior Jessica Williams (Seattle, WA / Meadowdale) went 3-6 at the plate with a home run and a RBI.  Senior Brittany Miller (Spencerville, IN / Leo) went 4-6 with a RBI.  The next day the Warriors battled the nationally ranked Madonna Crusaders and lost 7-1 and 8-0.  In the first game, Madonna pitcher Jess Irwin kept the Warriors off-balance but it didn’t stop Williams from hitting her conference leading 8^th home run of the season.  The Warriors will next travel to Grand Rapids, MI for a Thursday doubleheader against the Cornerstone Golden Eagles.  First pitch is scheduled for 4:00pm.  The Warriors next home game is Saturday, April 11^th against Concordia at 1:00pm.
