For Immediate Release
Fort Wayne, Ind. – The 2012 indoor spring season is underway as the Warriors start off with NCAA Division III Albion College. It will be the second trip to Albion, Michigan for the team and the match against the Brit’s should give the Warriors plenty of on and off-court motivation in preparing for the indoor match season. Last year the Warriors faced a very solid team and they expect to see the same again this year.
To continue their preparation for the spring season, the Lady Warriors will also head indoors to play Trine University, Olivet College and Saint Mary’s College. It will be the first time the team competes against both Trine and St. Mary’s. Very competitive and challenging matches are expected during the indoor season with every opponent.
Following a short break the team will head south to play some of the best small colleges in Kentucky, specifically Campbellsville University and Lindsey-Wilson College. Both teams have histories of being nationally ranked and competing in the national championships.
The Warriors will need to travel and play well as they prepare for conference play on March 27 against the newest team in the WHAC, Cornerstone University. Once indoor and pre-conference play is complete, the Warriors will be ready to challenge every team in the WHAC in both regular season play and during the WHAC Championships.
