Grand Rapids, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women’s tennis team’s season came to an end on Friday with a loss to fourth-seeded Aquinas College in the NAIA Unaffiliated Regional Tournament quarterfinals at Gainey Athletic Complex.
The fifth-seeded Warriors tried to avenge an earlier loss suffered at the hands of the Saints during the regular season, but Aquinas built a 3-0 lead after sweeping the doubles flights en route to defeating Tech 8-1.
The Warriors got their lone point at the No. 3 singles position where sophomore Stephanie Perez toppled her opponent 6-2, 6-0.
Indiana Tech finished the season with a 5-11 record and a 1-3 mark in conference play.
