Fort Wayne, IN-- The women’s tennis team is entering their final week of the fall season. After playing one of their most difficult matches of the season on Tuesday, they were anxious to get back on the courts to play Grace College.
There was no such luck as the doubles matches had started, but soon thereafter the rain started and then completed ended the match. What has been a good fall season for the women, with 4 new players on the roster, they are hoping to finish “rain free” as they host Univ. of Saint Francis (IN) this evening and travel to Anderson University later this week.
These matches will prepare them for the new “Regional Championships” they will compete in on October 16, 17 in Bourbonnais, IL. The winner of this tournament will qualify for the NAIA National Tennis Championships.
