Fort Wayne, Ind. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced the 2013 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes and Indiana Tech senior Dustin Boyd was one of 33 wrestling student-athletes from across the country recognized for his academic excellence.
The Mishawaka, Indiana native and Criminal Justice major earned the honor by maintaining a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach, the student-athlete must also have achieved a junior academic status.
