Fort Wayne, Ind. – The Indiana Tech wrestling team moved up to No. 14 in the final regular season edition of the NAIA Wrestling Coaches’ Top 20 Poll, announced by the national office on Wednesday.

The Warriors saw eight grapplers punch their ticket to the NAIA National Championships following last weekend’s qualifying group tournament, including regional champs Travis Barroquillo and James Bennett.

Three Warriors will carry NAIA Top-16 Individual rankings into the national championships. Barroquillo climbed six spots to No. 4 at 133-lbs while Martin gained one spot, moving up to No. 5 at 174-lbs. Bennett held steady as the No. 5 ranked wrestler at 165-lbs.

Indiana Tech will look to improve on its 16th place finish, as well as crown its first national champion in two weeks when they travel to Des Moines, Iowa for the 56th annual NAIA National Championships held at the Jacobson Exhibition Center on Mar. 1-2.
