<p><strong>Fort Wayne, Ind.</strong> – The Indiana Tech women’s basketball team is proud to announce the signing of Sarah White from Southwood High School in Wabash, Indiana for the 2013-14 season. </p>
<p>White, a 5-foot-8 guard, earned four varsity letters while playing for Southwood and was instrumental in leading the Lady Knights to the Three Rivers Conference championship this season averaging 16.6 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. She was named First Team All-TRC and First Team All-Wabash Co., as well as the Wabash Co. MVP. </p>
<p>White finished her career as the fourth leading scorer in school history with 915 points. She also scored the third most points in a season this past year with 349 while converting the most free throws in a season with 140. </p>
<p>In addition to basketball, White participated in three other sports at Southwood including volleyball, softball, and track. She is also an excellent student earning Academic All-Conference recognition in every sport. </p>
<p>Listed below are White’s high school athletic accomplishments: </p>
<p><strong>2009-10</strong> - Varsity Award </p>
<p><strong>2010-11</strong> - Varsity Award, Honorable mention All-TRC, 2nd Team All-Wabash Co. </p>
<p><strong>2011-12</strong> - Varsity Award, 1st Team All-TRC, 1st Team All-Wabash Co., Most Outstanding player Award (Team), Wabash County Tourney All-Tournament Team, Academic All-Conference </p>
<p><strong>2012-13</strong> - Varsity Award, 1st Team All-TRC, 1st Team All-Wabash Co., Wabash Co. MVP, IBCA All-State Honorable Mention, Most Outstanding Player Award (Team), Wabash County Tourney All-Tourney Team, 2013 Indiana Class Basketball All-Star Classic Participant, Academic All-Conference Honorable Mention, 16.6 ppg (18.4 in TRC), 46.1 % shooting percentage, 5.2 rpg, 2.8 apg, 2.3 spg, 4th in points in school history-915, 3rd most points in a season in school history-349, Most Free throws in a season-140</p>
