He emerged as the team’s primary goaltender and recorded 109 saves with a .589 save percentage. Not only is Famiglietti an outstanding player, but he is a great leader and strong motivational presence on a defense that allowed less than seven goals against per game, which ranked second in the conference.

Joining Famiglietti on the defensive end of the field was Johnston who also helped anchor one of the league’s top defenses. Johnston locked down the opposing team’s top offensive player each game. Macciomei was one of the conference’s best faceoff specialists this season and also a very good defensive player. He leads the CCLA in faceoff wins and has grabbed 96 ground balls. Macciomei has also scored once and dished out five assists.

Tech had seven student-athletes earn All-Academic Team recognition, the most of any team in the conference. Earning the honor was Josh Ambrose, Jeff Harter, Dylan Johnston, Chris Miller, Brent Nichter, Craig Schaepkens, and Gabe Stulp.
