History

The Indiana Tech Spirit Teams program was launched in the year 2000 and has had continued growth over the years. Indiana Tech Cheerleading program turned a corner 5 years ago with the introduction of coach Andrew Stout and his staff and has not looked back. Stout and his staff started at Indiana Tech with a small inexperienced coed cheer team and since then, grown the program to well over 20 experienced athletes every year. While much of their talent pool is local, the team has grown to include athletes from each coast and everywhere in between. Currently, the Warrior Cheer Team is one of the fastest growing collegiate cheer programs in North Eastern Indiana.

In the past 3 years the Warrior Cheer Team has expanded their horizons by becoming more active with in their local community and they have taken their skills to the next level by competing and placing at the national level. The Warriors look forward to more opportunities to show case their talent at the national level and look forward to the day they bring home their first national title.
