John Wood CC: Helped lead the team to one of the most successful two-year runs in Trail Blazer basketball history that included finishing with the second best regular season in the program’s twenty-year history...As a sophomore, the 6-3 wing enjoyed a breakout season finishing second on the team in scoring (13.4), third in rebounding (5.2), first in assists (3.0), and was named 1st Team All-Region 24 while guiding the Trail Blazers to a 22-8 record...He was the team’s top three-point shooter, hitting 48 percent of his shots from behind the arc, and shot 80 percent from the charity stripe...Landers became the defensive stopper for a team that ranked top-5 in the country in defensive points allowed each of the past two seasons...His 51 steals paced the team this past season and he finished with eight blocked shots
High School: Landers starred at Ouachita Parish where he was a Class 5A 1st Team All-State performer for the Lions his senior year and rated as the No. 27 player in Louisiana...In his junior season, he guided the team to a 39-4 overall record and a 5A State Championship...In his high school career, Landers averaged 22 points 11.5 rebounds per game
