CPS Admissions
Thank you for choosing to explore Indiana Tech for your pursuit of a college
degree. You'll find that our career-oriented degree programs focus on the
skills and knowledge you need to succeed in the workplace. While maintaining
high academic standards, the university also understands the challenges of
attending college as an adult learner. With this in mind, we have made the
admissions process as convenient as possible.
Undergraduate Admissions
You must be at least 23 years old with three years of work experience to enroll
in College of Professional Studies undergraduate programs. If you have the
required work experience but are younger than 23, please contact the
admissions office to discuss your options.
To be admitted, you must submit:

(please be aware that there is a $25 application fee)

An official copy of your high school transcript or GED certificate (not
required if you have earned an associate degree)

Graduate Admissions
Applicants for Indiana Tech graduate programs must have:

a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university

an undergraduate GPA of at least 2.5

at least 2 years of significant work experience (if you do not meet this
requirement, the following criteria can be substituted: 200 times undergraduate
GPA plus GMAT score must equal or exceed 1000 total points

Students are required to submit three documents of recommendation. At least one
of these recommendations must come from the student's current employer. Other
recommendations should come from employers (current or former), former
professors, or other professionals who can testify to the student's ability and
preparedness for graduate work.
In addition to these basic guidelines, individual graduate degree programs have
prerequisite requirements based on the knowledge and expertise needed to
succeed in the curriculum.
MBA (Master of Business Administration)
MBA students must complete the following courses (or equivalent 3 credit class)
with a grade of C or better:
MSM (Master of Science in
Management)
MSM students must complete BA
2010 Principles of Management, or an equivalent 3-credit course, with a
grade of C or better before taking
MBA 5000 Executive Management.
MSE (Master of Science in Engineering
Management)
MSE students must have a bachelor of science in a technical field, a minimum GPA
of 2.50, and one undergraduate course in accounting and one undergraduate
course in finance
