Accounting A.S.

Program Description

The Associate of Science in Accounting provides the student with a thorough knowledge of accounting.  The program uses the TEAM approach for the accounting concentration courses.  Accounting courses unique to this concentration are taught in sequential order.  All other courses are taken at the discretion of the student subject to course prerequisites.

Career Opportunities

An Associate of Science in Accounting prepares the student to perform junior level accounting jobs such as bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory tracking and analysis.  The student is also prepared to continue the pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
