Business Administration - MIS B.S.

Program Description

This degree is a combination of computer and management courses designed to develop a proficiency in the application of information technology to support business processes.  The MIS concentration uses the TEAM approach where courses specific to MIS are offered in sequential order.  All other courses required for their degree are taken at the discretion of the student subject to course prerequisites. 

Career Opportunities

There is a strong demand for individuals who have an understanding of both business and technology and how the two can be integrated to enhance business opportunities.  Possible career options for MIS graduates include: systems analyst, chief information officer (CIO), chief technology officer (CTO), applications developer, technology manager, and project manager.
