Master of Science in
Engineering Management (MSE)
Program Description
The Master of Science in Engineering Management is designed for professionals
with a technical background who are preparing to assume more managerial
responsibilities, or who are broadening their knowledge base. Topics such as
quality assurance, lean manufacturing, and enterprise resource planning are
complemented with the study of financial management, project management,
managerial economics, and more. This integration creates an educational
experience which can be thought of as an MBA with a technical focus.
Career Opportunities
The Master of Science in Engineering Management prepares students for
leadership, managerial, and analyst positions in areas such as project
engineering, production engineering, sales engineering, engineering
administration, and engineering consultant.
Admissions Requirements
A B.S. in a technical field, a minimum GPA of 2.50, and an undergraduate
accounting course.
The program has 14 classes for a total of 42 credits. None of the MSE
courses have prerequisites and can be taken in any order unless otherwise
noted.
