Movies @ Tech
Andorfer Commons is home to a state-of-the-art theater featuring Dolby digital
surround sound, stadium seating and other amenities to provide entertainment
and enrichment for students, staff, and the Fort Wayne community.
Indiana Tech's partner in the operation of the theater is Fort Wayne Cinema
Center, a not-for-profit cultural organization dedicated to presenting the best
in film in northeast Indiana since 1976. Cinema Center is the oldest film
society in our area and has been showing movies in downtown Fort Wayne at 437
E. Berry St., just a mile from Indiana Tech, since 1991.
The 210-seat Indiana Tech theater is open to the public, Friday through Monday
and for special showings during the week. Indiana Tech students, faculty, and
staff receive a significant discount on the admission price, just $2 per
ticket. Indiana Tech professors and their students are admitted for free
whenever programming is a good match to curriculum. For information on movie
times, please visit the Cinema Center web site at
www.cinemacenter.org. If you have questions about Cinema Center
scheduling or discounts, you can also call 426-3456.
