Home Folder Usage
Every student account at Indiana Tech is assigned a 'Home Folder', or 'H' drive, on the network to store personal and class related files. The files stored on the Home Folder are accessible only to the student while logged into the IndianaTech.Net network using their username and password. In addition, files stored in the Home Folder will be backed up on a nightly basis.
How do I connect to my Home Folder?
- ..from a Lab
The 'H' drive will be available automatically after signing into the IndianaTech.Net domain from the lab.
- ..from my dorm room
Go to myfiles.indianatech.net and use your IndianaTech.net user id and password. If you don't know your username and/or password, click here.
- ..from off-campus
Go to myfiles.indianatech.net and use your IndianaTech.net user id and password. If you don't know your username and/or password, click here.
This will give you, as a student of Indiana Tech, anytime/anywhere access to the files that you store to your H: drive from lab computers on our campuses. Whether you're on summer break or only spending a night or two a week in class, we believe this will be a valuable asset that allows you to have your files available on or off campus.
How much space is available in my Home Folder?
Each student at Indiana Tech is allocated 100mb of storage.
